SWITA is proud to support the training and development of both assistant practitioner and diagnostic radiographer apprentices across the South West. We will be delivering an annual webinar series, developed in response to feedback from previous apprentices, clinical experts and practice educators to support the development of skills and knowledge.
This comprehensive multi-modality imaging webinar series is designed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of medical imaging apprentices across MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray. The programme includes both foundational theory and clinically focused image acquisition and interpretation, supporting students in improving diagnostic accuracy, patient safety and confidence in everyday practice.
This series also explores:
- Medical abbreviations for professional communication
- The evolving roles in medical imaging in modern healthcare
Each webinar is tailored to a specific academic level – Level 4 (Higher Apprenticeship), Level 5 (Foundation Degree Apprenticeship) or Level 6 (Degree Apprenticeship) to support learners at different stages of their training.
The webinar series will be delivered via MS Teams.
